For the last three days Dr. B has been working from home. He is spearheading a project, and four of his employees are working on it with him. This is the first project of its kind that his company has undertaken, and he and his team decided to work on it out of the office. So….They have been at our house working out of our living room. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very excited. This project is very significant. But….5 men, 8 hours a day, for 3 days 😦 I did my wifey duties and had bagels, fruit, and coffee ready for them every morning. The last two days I have been up in the office “hard” at work on my assignments for class. But today, I decided I needed to get away from all the testosterone, so I went to the mall 🙂 Where else can you go where there is more estrogen than testosterone. LOL!
My trip wasn’t in vain. I found the most bad arse belt on sale at Anthropologie ( love that store). AND, the best part of my “mini-hiatus” was finding my birthday present thanks to Roger in Bloomingdales. (Yes, I’m one of those women that gives their husbands a wish list). It’s David Yurman enhance, with a carved cable design. I tried it on and it looked beautiful with the necklace Dr. B brought me for Xmas. When I returned from the mall Dr. B and his team were still working away. When I walked in the door Dr. B asked me, “did you find something you liked?” LOL! That’s my husband, he knows me well.
So what think, ya or nay to giving your husband a wish list, and when it comes to buying you presents, does your husband get it right?
