I’m not sure how this news slipped pass me. But, Mary J. Blige has been cast to play Jazz singer Nina Simone. I’m so excited! I’m not a movie person, but I am a huge fan of both singers. It will be great to see Mary expand her talents and her vocal ability in this role. Here is a page from her spread in the November issue of Elle Magazine.
